Fabulous Vintage Necklace With ChaCha Bracelet & Earrings Unsigned Hobe
1950's era, Juliana for Hobe'
Loads of Dangling Plastic Beads
Juliana construction seen in this set which actually is unsigned Hobe. Most likely this is Juliana for Hobe'. Juliana style clamper bracelets that are amazingly similar in shape and design to D&E clampers. Please refer to the construction on the bracelet, it is identical to bracelets that are signed Hobe'. Check out other unsigned Hobe' pieces in the Hobe' Construction Elements Category.

These particular pieces feature construction elements Hobe' was known for which include:
Hobe' pieces usually have a double row of prong set glass stones or rhinestones set all the way around it. Stones are set using dog tooth prongs.( Being all dangling beads this set does not show this). Distinct hinge construction which is the same on most of the clampers. I will soon be writing a blog about this.

 So, on to the description

Loads of cascading, hand wired, dangling, light aqua blue & white beads. The bracelet is especially ornate with prong set, plastic white stones, going around the whole piece, top and bottom. These culminate into the wildly cha cha cluster of beads at the front.

The earrings are just as cha cha with rows of cascading beads that drop down from a pierced brass metal plate. The necklace has no dangling beads, has 3 rows of plastic beads in graduating lengths. The blue beads in the necklace are BIG measuring 17mm round. These are strung on silk accented with the same small football shaped beads seen dangling in the bracelet & earrings. Small gold beads are used as spacers. The strands are attached to gold plated connectors and the necklace is adjustable in length. The extender has the white beads hand wired together ending with a big blue bead

This set is in excellent vintage condition. The gold plating on the bracelet and connectors shows no wear. The earring backs are brass and have the normal darkened patina seen on brass from this period. The small gold spacers have also darkened in some areas, again, normal in vintage pieces, and does not detract from the beauty or value of the set.

The plastic beads are beautiful with no fading, dulling, or flaws anywhere.

The necklace measures 16~1/4" total adjustable length.

The bracelet has an inside measurement of 2~1/4" x 7/8". It fits the small to medium sized wrist nicely.

The front design area measures approx. 3" across and with the dangles measures approx. 1~3/4" long.

The earrings measure approx. 1~1/2" long x approx. 2" across. I say approx. due to the very thick clusters which make it a bit difficult to measure.

Fabulous rare parure which will  be a featured set in any vintage plastic, bakelite, designer, even Juliana, jewelry collection.
