FABULOUS STATEMENT NECKLACE BY ACCESSOCRAFT NYC
A brief history:
Source - Website SARARA COUTURE
"Founded around 1930, by Edgar Rodelheimer and Theodore Steinman, but ceased operations in 1998.
Accessocraft was during it’s heyday producing jewelry for film, television and with major designers such as; Pauline Trigere and Anne Klein. The New York City company produced spectacular designs worn by many women, that have influenced other designers over the years, as well. The higher end designs being larger and rarer are sought after. The materials they used ranged from gemstones to glass or lucite, set in quality antiqued metal finishes".
This necklace is a massive pendant which features a huge, plastic, faux turquoise, cabochon. This is set in the center of the ornate, gold, antiqued metal, pendant. (Gold plated) Tiny turquoise colored faceted stones and faux pearls are set around the outer perimeter of the pendant. All very dimensional and seriously striking! Filigree metal back makes it lovely turned around as well.
The beautiful, embossed linked, chain, is very very long measuring approx. 55". Doubled up it is still long which is desirable right now.
Condition - very good - excellent vintage, no problems to note.
Please keep in mind though we may rate vintage jewelry as in very good to excellent vintage condition, these pieces are pre-owned and may show very gentle wear. This is only pertaining to normal wear as in very slight loss of brilliance in stones, faint, barely visible scratches on metal, and patina on certain metals such as brass and silver / silver plated metal
