VTG BAKELITE BRACELET~CLUSTERS OF DANGLING PLASTIC FRUITS ON CHAIN~FRUITY DELIGHT!

This bracelet is loaded with plastic fruits leaves and large round bakelite circles or discs, really kicky! I purchased this at an antique show and was told it was made by a gal back in the 1970's using vintage bakelite and plastic fruit charms and old plastic chain. The colors are delightful! Butterscotch bakelite which is lightly swirled pops out against lime green pears, deep purple grapes and lilac colored plums. Forest green plastic leaves add a wonderful depth of color and all of these drop from a very old lilac colored plastic or celluloid chain. The bakelite drops measure approx. 1~1/4" round and they are gently carved. The bracelet was so short in length (6~1/8" ) that I added an extender so it will fit a lot of wrist sizes. It now measures an adjustable 8~1/2" long and has a spring ring clasp. The only other thing I added to it is the bakelite bead at the end of it. This is just adorable and will look great all year round.
