RARE JEANNE PIN~ GORGEOUS HUGE MILLIFIORE GLASS CABOCHON STONE~ORIENTAL DESIGN

Uniquely designed brooch by Jeanne, this pin features a gorgeous millifiore art glass stone. This design is unusually large for a Jeanne piece whose items were more delicate and refined most of the time. The millifiore glass cabochon is glossy black with red, blue, white & orange canes in it. A spectacular piece of glass it's quite huge measuring approx. 1~3/4" long by 1~1/4" wide. It is showcased in an open work antique gold tone design that to me resembles thick curved bamboo shoots. This textured gold setting slopes up from the bottom and is upraised where it holds the large stone. A striking brooch, and a great designer to collect as there are not a lot of Jeanne pieces out there. Measures 2~3/16" in diameter, but actually looks like an oval piece because of the oval shaped center stone. It stands up approx. 1/2" high and is in excellent vintage condition. Nice!
