The jade beads in this necklace are huge! Gorgeous and over sized (each measure approx. 29mm x 19mm) , these beads are multi colored some of which are: mauve, raspberry, honey amber, tan, brown, raspberry, deep chocolate brown and several shades of jade green. I love working with really big beads and these are just over the top. I added some brilliant aurora borealis faceted glass beads in between the jade ones and they do add just a glint of sparkle, something I just can't stay away from, lol! These AB beads are especially beautiful, their color is a deep, rich, carnival glass fuschia/purple/raspberry shade, hard to describe but a fabulous compliment to the various jade colored beads. I used a vintage large linked gold tone chain for the extender, it has a nice embossed design in each link. The clasp is an elegant S hook which is large enough to hold the necklace securely. Now this necklace is heavy, you need to be used to wearing large, weighty pieces to own this one. But if you are comfortable with the heavier pieces you will have fun getting complimented as this one will get you noticed. It has my copper Ellen Original hang tag and measures an adjustable 23~1/2" total length. I designed matching pierced earrings which measure1~1/8" long and feature the AB beads & gold link chain you see in the necklace.
