VTG BIG DAZZLING RICHARD KERR DANGLE EARRINGS~BRILLIANT AUSTRIAN CRYSTAL STONES

These earrings are spectacular! Big haute couture doorknockers they are encrusted with flat back Austrian crystal brilliants for incredible sparkle. The colors in these are gorgeous. Jonquil, black and brown all laid out in a beautiful design. Though unsigned these are attributed to Richard Kerr whose designs incorporated Austrian flat back crystal rhinestones which were all meticulously hand placed creating brilliant shimmering jeweled effects. They were made in the USA and sold at fine department stores such as Nordstroms and Neiman Marcus during the 1980's and were very expensive when they came out. The original owner paid approx. 100.00 for them. This pair features dazzling crystals in a striking color combination using black & brown stones placed in a leopard, tiger print design. They are in excellent condition. I will note that 2 of the flat back stones are missing, these are yellow ones and because of the gold metal and the rest of the stones being so blingy you really don't notice it. This is at the bottom of the top portion of one of the earrings and does not effect the beauty of them in any way. You really have to look very close to spot this and they can be easily replaced if desired. These awesome clip backs measure 2~1/2" long x 1~3/8" wide. Fabulous!
