Over sized amber beads make for a very unique look here. I loved these huge amoeba like beads and had to make a wild looking necklace using them. This piece is fabulous on, very couture, I wore it with a very wide fold turtle neck collar sweater and it is long enough to show beneath a big collar like that. It looked smashing and I received a lot of compliments on it. The color of the amber is gorgeous with a lot of golden flecks in each piece. Smaller round amber beads graduate down in size at the end of the piece allowing it to lie nicely and finishing the ends beautifully. I believe it is amber which has been treated somehow, and it is gorgeous! The beads are very large measuring approx. 2~1/4" long x 1~1/4" wide on average. Though large this necklace is not heavy. I used a vintage gold toned chain for an extender and a lobster clasp. It measures an adjustable 25~1/2" total length and has my Ellen Original copper hang tag. Very nice!
