This is a fabulous and unusual design to find in Miriam Haskell jewelry. This dated to the 1970's as it is strung in the "tipping" style. The info on this is found in the book "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" by Cathy Gordon & Sheila Pamfiloff. I also included a photo from the book with the necklace. This necklace is very cool made with white plastic discs which have a open top center where they are attached to each other with gold cord which is doubled on each disc. These discs are graduated in size with the biggest center one measuring 1~3/4" round. Accenting these white discs are 6 gold tone discs, graduated in size, which have a hammered textured design on them. There is one gold disc set between 3 white discs, very striking. The clasp is the slide in style with a filigree top and signed Miriam Haskell on the back. It looks fabulous on, contemporary and bold, wonderful in summer, but also with your winter wardrobe as well. In excellent vintage condition it measures 18" long.
