ETRUSCAN REVIVAL HINGED BRACELET~VICTORIAN ERA~3 SHADES OF GOLD

This piece has been re-listed due to the very tight locking clasp which is difficult for a person to work by oneself. If you have someone to help it is a wonderful bracelet to own!

 

This is a fantastic etruscan revival bracelet! This has beautiful and fine wirework along with rose gold design accents and green gold leaf designs. These are so difficult to find anymore and especially in good condition. This piece is in very good condition considering it's a victorian bracelet, over 100 years old.The clasp locks tight when snapped closed, and the wirework is in excellent condition. The top or main part of the bracelet is in excellent shape, the back has some gold finish gone where it almost seems like someone may have polished it there too much. This does not go down to the dark base metal, and doesn't detract from the piece. There is some very slight pitting at the back part of the piece, and one small spot where the base metal shows, but again, this is minor, but noted. (see close-up photo) Please keep in mind that close-up photos make these areas appear more defined, as they are enlarged. There is a stamp on the inside of the clasping area. It looks like a double U and then the initials S W. I do not know the company, if a kind ebayer does know anything about this signature please send the info along. Being victorian period, the bracelet is a small size. It fits my 6~1/4 wrist perfectly with room to move. It is an oval shape with the inside opening measuring 2~3/16 x approx. 2". It is a bit over 1/4" wide. A truly beautiful item!
