Spectacular and very big, this brooch is from the 1940's-50' s era. Gorgeous marquise pink givre rhinestones cover this pin which has a beautiful starburst shape. Layered slightly beneath 4 of the pink stones are clear rhinestones, just enough to accent the star shape of this pin. The pink givre rhinestones are older stones which are bevel cut along the edges. Please note the close up photo of this. This looks like an older Juliana piece, though I am not sure if Juliana used these stones in their jewelry. The construction however is consistent for Juliana pieces. Irregardless, this is a magnificent pin in a very desirable pink color of rhinestone. In very good vintage condition with just a few very small dark spots on the back of several of the pink stones. Hard to see unless you look very close or with a loupe and definately does not detract from the beauty of this brooch. The metal shows no wear at all and the pin catch works properly.Measures 3~3/8" x 3~3/8" Fabulous!
