4 STRAND NECKLACE~MULTI PINK PLASTIC BEADS~SUGAR BEADS!
Wonderful vintage plastic beads necklace from the 1950's-60's era. This one has a lot of pink beads in several shades and variety of textures. Four wonderful strands which include iridescent pink faceted beads, dark rose beads with a satin finish and lovely swirled shape, med pink iridescent beads with a dimpled texture, and fantastic sugar beads, in a double shade of pink,( a lighter pink with dark rose specks) really unique! These are all graduated in size and have small satin pink spacer in between each bead. This necklace is in fantastic vintage condition, it looks as if it has never been used at all! The gold finish on the connecting findings are like new, no wear showing at all. These were made of light weight metal with an equally light gold plating on them. Usually they show some wear or dulling of the finish, but this piece is really great with no wear at all. The stringing on this is very high quality. All strands are expertly finished at the ends with no string showing at all, no visable knots (so they must be backstrung) and best of all the ends have tiny copper metal threads wired all around each silk thread for a super finished look. Amazing quality workmanship for a plastic necklace! No loose or stretched strands either, simply a vintage necklace in pristine condition. The clasp is a shephards hook style and is stamped Hong Kong on the back. This is a fabulous necklace made for the collector who really wants a vintage piece in like new condition. Four graduated lengths with the top (shortest) strand measuring 21~1/2" total length.
