VTG SCHREINER PIN EARRINGS SET~HUGE EMERALD CUT CLEAR CRYSTAL & ICE BLUE STONES

This brooch & earrings set is simply to die for! Signed Schreiner New York this 1950's-60's set features spectacular open back icy blue emerald cut crystal stones and brilliant round faceted clear stones. The crystal in the center of the pin is a massive emerald cut clear crystal stone which measures 1~1/8" x 1~1/8" alone. It is set up high in the center of the piece making a fantastic focal point to the brooch. Below and surrounding this awesome center stone are smaller clear foil back rhinestones. Then below those are amazing icy blue elongated square shaped open back stones and huge round clear open back stones which slope out a bit from the rhinestones. this gives the pin fabulous height and stunning design. All big stones other than the center one are set with the point side up, a distinct feature of Schreiner jewelry. The smaller foil back rhinestones are set with the table side up. Even without the signature there would be no doubt this is made by Schreiner. But it is signed on both pin and earrings. The matching clip back earrings are also very big and 3-dimensional with identical oblong blue, round clear, and rhinestone stones. The metal is silver plated and the set in in excellent vintage condition. Especially important is the condition of the stones which is most excellent. No visible damage to those big stones with only the very tiniest of nicks to a few of the clear pointy stones. This is seen only with magnification and does not affect the beauty of the set in any way. This is an important designer signed set which will be a crown jewel in any high end vintage jewelry collection. The brooch measures 2~1/8" square and stands approx. 1" tall. The earrings measure 1~6/8" long x just over 5/8" wide.
