WWII ERA MIRIAM HASKELL DRESS CLIP~DANGLING HAND WIRED CORAL BEADS~BRASS LEAVES
Very nice early Miriam Haskell dress clip featuring genuine coral beads, beautifully embossed hand wired brass beads and finely detailed brass leaves. This is one of the desirable and rare WWII era unsigned dress clips which has the beads dangling down from brass rings which are hand wired onto a celluloid pierced rectangular bar. This is a distinct component used in Haskell jewelry at the time and is pictured in the book "Miriam Haskell Jewelry". I have added photos of this exact back which is pictured in the book. The center of the clip has the coral beads hand wired onto the celluloid clip in a double flower design with the embossed brass beads wired into the center of the flower layouts. The leaves are elegant featuring intricate open work metal, very fine, yet substantial. These pieces are so unique. The clip measures approx. 2~1/4" long x approx. 1~5/8" wide. It is in excellent vintage condition with all beads present and all wiring tight and intact. It will make a lovely addition to your vintage jewelry collection but especially so to the early Miriam Haskell one
