RARE KJL LAGUNA RENAISSANCE REVIVAL MERMAID PIN~GOLD METAL~HARP CROWN PEARL BODY
Rare renaissance revival figural pin signed KJL for Laguna.This is a mythological piece, a mermaid, and it's very unique! Even though the mermaid's belly body area looks like a huge pearl, it is actually a pearlized enamel paint that has been applied to that area. The mermaid is done with wonderful detail. From the textured hair and tail, to her arms holding a harp and the crown on her head, this is really a cool piece. The crown and tail have tiny pave rhinestones set in them as do her eyes. This pin is in very good vintage condition. A few of the rhinestones show slight fading but it is nothing serious. The gold finish on the metal is in excellent condition. A great piece for the high end collection! Measures 2~1/2" long x 2" wide.
