VTG 60's ANSON CUFFLINKS SET~DETAILED EMBOSSED CHESS PIECES~IN ORIGINAL BOX

I bought a lot of vintage cufflinks over time and will be listing them now and then. If you know someone who loves to play chess and wears cufflinks this set would make a terrific gift, especially nice as it works for both ladies and men. From the 1960's era this unique set includes the links and tie tac in the original hard box. The cufflinks feature finely detailed embossed chess piece figures and the tie tac is in the form of the king piece. The metal is silver plated but has a pewter look to the metal which gives them a classy and elegant look. The silver portion of the links are actually separate pieces of metal which are set on top of gold plated metal giving them an outer gold edge as well as nice dimension. They are stamped Anson and are in unused, like new condition. The original (black) box is in good vintage condition though it shows just a bit of age. The outer top has a few small scratches and one side shows a slight "wrinkling" to the material it is covered with. This is very minimal but noted. However, the inside lining is excellent and the velvet the links are presented on is also very good. What's neat is it has the original price tag of 12.50 inside. The cufflinks measure 7/8" across x 5/8" long, the box measures 3~1/4" x 2~3/8" x 1~1/8". Nice...
