DECO ERA VENETIAN GLASS BEADS NECKLACE~RICH BROWN COPPER GOLD STONE GOLDSTONE~QQ

Gorgeous Venetian glass beads necklace from the 1940's era. This necklace features the large round somewhat flat disc shaped beads which lie beautifully on the neckline. They are much more striking than the regular round beads as there is much more surface area per bead to show off the metallic flecks in the glass. And the colors here are wonderful with rich chocolate brown copper metallic shades swirling in between goldstone copper metallic glass, just too beautiful for words. Matching small round glass beads are strung in between each big bead and the same size beads are used for the extender part of the necklace. Large floral filigree bead caps add beauty and interest to the large beads. This necklace is in very good - excellent vintage condition with no problems to point out. The brass shows the desirable patina on the metal and the stringing is still nice and tight to the ends. The large glass beads measure 7/8" round and the necklace itself measures 16~1/2" total adjustable length.
