RUNWAY COUTURE BANGLE BRACELET~PILED STACKED VTG RHINESTONE & ENAMELED FLOWERS
This bracelet is absolutely over the top. It's the biggest I've made so far in my haute couture enameled flower bouquet bracelets collection. I've included a group photo of my most recent flower bracelets in this listing (though not all of them have not been listed yet) The first 4 I made were sold at an antique show in April, 2011 and I did not get photos of them all before they sold. So I made a new collection over this past summer / fall and waited until I got a group picture of them before I started to list them here. All of these bracelets feature vintage enamel flower pins, earrings, parts and pieces from the 1940's-60's era. Some have had to have the enamel restored but most I use are as found and arranged and applied onto lucite or plastic bangle bracelets. Most of the bangle bracelets are vintage but I have found some very cool looking new ones which look great with the older flowers. These are time consuming to design and construct (especially this one) but certainly fun, lol! This one is my Christmas, Holiday, Winter season motif bracelet with a really fabulous big and very 3-dimensional, beautiful red rose as one of the focal point flowers. Because this rose was a bit heavy and was put onto the side of the plastic bangle I needed to keep adding pieces to the other side to balance it out. So it evolved into this massive piece. Really quite heavy with flowers stacked on top of, beside, and beneath each other. This is for the gal who is not afraid to wear a wild piece, and this one is amazing. It's so dimensional that you can't really see the size and scope of it as it takes photos of several areas of it to get the whole design pictured. So please look at the photos and email me if you have questions. The plastic bracelet beneath this garden of flowers is a newer one. It's a very wide transparent smokey gray color with silvery white specks all over it which reminds me of falling snow. The center top flower is a 1940's huge rhinestone star snowflake shaped piece which was a pin at one time. It is magnificent, looks so winter holiday to me. There are many, many other flowers are in this piece, there's even a molded glass leaf tucked in this bouquet. As stated above this is a heavy piece weighing 6.8 oz. so you have to love big jewelry to wear it comfortably. However, it is balanced and even a medium size wrist can pull this off. I can almost wear it myself but my 6~1/4" wrist gets swallowed up a bit. Because the flowers flow over the edges of the bracelet you can use them to hold onto your wrist so to speak. The enameled leaves on one side and the points of the star flower sort of grab the wrist and help secure the piece and keep it from turning, good if your wrist is smaller. I do balance them all out so if the bracelet fits your wrist size correctly it will not turn over. I will be adding the others pictured in the group over the next few days, weeks, the only one not available pictured in the group photo is the one with the parrot. All are signed with my Ellen original copper or silver metal tags. This bracelet measures 1~5/8" wide with an inside opening which measures 2~1/2" in diameter. And blooms piled up, up and over! Just email me with any questions you may have.
