HOLLYCRAFT NECKLACE PIN EARRINGS SUITE~1950~WOW COLORS~ICE BLUE~PURPLE~MARIGOLD
Gorgeous rhinestone necklace pin and earrings set by Hollycraft dated 1950. Featuring fabulous rhinestones in a gorgeous color combination of icy blue, purple, and marigold, this suite is spectacular. The design is elaborate and ornate with hundreds of rhinestones which are set close together, really beautiful! The metal has an antique gold plated finish on it reminding me of Heidi Daus jewelry, only a bit lighter. The metal design work is fabulous as well featuring a flower nature theme, very detailed with rhinestones set in every spot available. This parure is in excellent vintage condition. I have scrutinized every inch of it and all the stones are present and in great condition. The elongated oval stones are especially brilliant, like icy blue jewels. The gold plating is nice as well, all in all just an incredible set. The necklace measures approx. 15" long and has a fold over clasp. The center design area measures 5" across and comes to a slight V at the center. The egg shaped center piece measures 1~3/4" long x 1~1/4" wide. The brooch is a stylized bow which measures 2" long x 2~1/2" across. The earrings are screw backs which measure 1~1/4" long x 3/4" across. All pieces are signed Hollycraft (the earrings have a signature on one of them only). This is such a fantastic set, I've seen a lot of Hollycraft over the years but not in this design. This parure would certainly be a wonderful set to add to your Hollycraft collection!
