Dramatic gold necklace by Napier dating to 1988. This one is high quality in every way. Big, wide, thick, heavy, gold links in two designs intertwine as they connect to each other giving this necklace a very bold look as well as the look and feel of real gold jewelry. The largest links are double curb design links, beautiful! It is gold plated but if you wear 14k gold a lot no one will know this is not the real thing. It's heavy, weighing 6 oz (on my postal scale) so it really feels like fine jewelry. The patent number on the fold over clasp is 4774741, or very close to this, it's a bit difficult to make out, however, the first three numbers are definitely 477 which dates it exactly to 1988. It is in excellent vintage condition measuring 18" long x 7/8" wide and signed Napier in script on the back of the clasp. A striking necklace in a classic design, this one will always be in style.
