VTG 1940's GLITTER CARDBOARD CHRISTMAS BELL EARRINGS~RED SATIN & GLASS BEADS

These Christmas bell earrings are charming. From the 1940's era these are truly unique and exceptionally well made. Constructed from a cardboard or egg carton type material they have been totally coated with glitter, very high quality with wonderful body and form. They are further decorated with more glitter which is bright silver, red satin ribbons and dyed green fish scales which depict holly leaves. Tiny red glass beads depict the holly berries. Their condition is also exceptional, still holding their shape perfectly and no discoloration or glitter loss as far as I can tell. These are screw backs and they measure approx. 1~7/8" long x 1" across at the bottom of the bell. Sweet...
