VTG HE MORSE GOLD FILLED CUFF BRACELET~GREEN & ROSE GOLD~SCROLLS LEAVES FLOWER
Beautiful vintage gold filled bracelet from 1940's era. I could barely read the mark, thought for sure it was stamped Krementz but after looking at the letters it looks to be H E Morse Co. This is so faint and difficult to make out that I could be mistaken on a letter, but I am almost positive that's what it is. This is seen on the inside metal at the end of the piece, the other end is stamped 1/20 14K and though still very hard to find it is marked much more clearly than the company name. It is identical to Krementz pieces from that period from design, construction and metal, if anyone knows anything about this company please email me. Otherwise, it is a cuff which features open metal work complete with scrolls, leaves and a center flower which is very 3 dimensional. The flower differs a bit from Krementz flowers as it is a more exotic blossom, looks like a bloom you would see in Hawaii or the Polynesian Islands, somewhere tropical anyway. The rest of the metal design, again, is identical to Krementz jewelry with open scroll work along with green and rose gold finishes. It does seem to be heavier and more solid than krementz pieces though. This truly is a lovely bracelet and must be a rare item as I can't find any info on it. There is only one bracelet with this mark for sale on the net right now and there are no photos of it. It is in excellent vintage condition measuring 1" wide at the center area and graduating down in width to 1/2" at the ends. The inner opening measures 1~7/8" from the center to the ends and 2~3/16" across the widest area across. It is somewhat adjustable as you can pull the ends a bit wider to fit your wrist.
