VTG GLASS BEADS EARRINGS~LONG GRAPE CLUSTER DANGLES~BOHEMIAN BICOLOR~OLIVINE BLUSH
Dramatic in colors of hematite black and light olivine these vintage earrings date to the 1940's-50's era. The earrings are screw back style long dangles which feature beautiful faceted glass beads, each separately hand wired forming a grape cluster drop design. The light olivine beads are delicately bicolored with a very soft peach blush color which are accented with hematite coated black glass beads making a very striking color combination. Most of the old bicolored beads were made in Bohemia as were many of the glass beads used in the vintage jewelry. Info on the bicolored beads is found in the book "Glass in Jewelry" (Hidden Artistry in Glass) by Jargstorf. The metal is silver plated and are in excellent vintage condition measuring 2" long. Nice~
