MASSIVE RUNWAY HAUTE COUTURE SEASHELL NECKLACE~ALL HAND WIRED BIG SHELLS~2 DIE 4
This is just over the top to die for spectacular. I've had this incredible necklace for approx. 6 years, in my seashell collection. It was purchased at an antique shop during my traveling around years and I just had to have it. I find that I just do not wear it enough, it is better suited for you ladies with lovely long necks. Mine is just a bit short for this piece, sigh.... It looks spectacular on if you can carry these incredible pieces which this certainly is. Totally a runway haute couture necklace made with sliced seashells which are all hand wired together forming large exquisite flower blossoms with aurora borealis crystal beads in the center of each one. There are nine blossoms altogether, the 3 biggest ones at the center of the necklace also have shells dropping down from them, which, to me, depicts leaves. The flowers graduate in size with the largest ones measuring approx. 4" in diameter. The smallest ones at the back of the neck measure approx. 3" in diameter. I'm telling you... it's really really big. These are all wired together with sterling silver wire. I did add a vintage extender chain at the back, (non sterling) I felt it needed to be adjustable in length. I can replace this with a sterling silver extender chain if requested. This awesome necklace measures 20" in length with a 4" extender chain for a 24" total adjustable length. It is also heavy weighing approx. 1 lb. By itself. It really didn't completely fit onto my postal scale, I don't have a jewelry scale big enough to accomodate this necklace. The longest measurement at the center measures approx. 5". It is in excellent condition, if I missed anything just email me with any questions you may have.
