VTG STERLING SILVER ROSARY by McVAN~ SOFT PEACH FACETED CRYSTAL BEADS~EXCELLENT
McVan Jewelry, Catholic religious items, 1944-present. This rosary by McVan features peach colored cut crystal beads and beautifully embossed chain links. All sterling silver and also marked rhodium on the paper label. Because of the embossing I am thinking it is a vintage rosary, contemporary rosaries I've seen don't have that extra feature. The beads measure 6mm each, the crucifix measures 2~1/4" long x 1~5/16" across and the rosary measures 21" long when laid out on a table measured from the top down. This includes the cross. The cross & center medallion are stamped sterling, still has the original label attached and is in excellent vintage condition. Nice!
