1980's R SERBIN HUGE CRYSTAL HEART PIN BROOCH WITH BOW~NICE FOR VALENTINE'S DAY
This high-quality costume jewelry brooch is signed R. Serbin, who designed jewelry in the 1980's that was sold in Neiman-Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf-Goodmans. This one is especially nice as it features a huge faceted heart shaped crystal stone as the focal point. And this crystal is really big measuring 1~3/8" long x 1~1/4" across by itself! This heart is set in a gold plated heart shaped setting and is accented by faceted lucite stones set above it in a large bow design shape. This piece is beautifully constructed having nice weight (due in part to the huge center stone), with the heart crystal showing gorgeous facet work and a mirrored back. It has a built in pin assembly also. In excellent vintage condition this romantic piece would be wonderful to wear on Valentine's Day. Measures 2~1/8" long x 2~1/2" across.
