Beautiful vintage Czechoslovakian pendant with faceted turquoise blue rhinestones makes a beautiful focal point in this necklace and earrings set. One of my creations this Czech piece was originally a dress clip which I designed a necklace around. These beautiful old clips really pop when made into necklaces and this one really is striking. The color of the stones in the pendant are a brilliant aqua or turquoise blue made even more striking due to the extreme faceting seen in them. These stones are cut like the old Eisenberg crystal stones with many more facets than normal. These are prong set in an ornate centerpiece which features elaborate metal work depicting forms in nature. Flowers, leaves and 4 leaf clovers are meticulously detailed, right down to the delicate veins in the petals and leaves, really beautiful. These are also very dimensional with fabulous body and form. Oh those Czechoslovakian artisans, still amazing us with their incredible workmanship so many years from the time originally made. And always an inspiration for me, how nice to be able to design using their pieces as the main event in a set! So, I enhanced this piece using vintage foil glass beads, Victorian faceted crystal and glass beads in various shapes, tiny clear Victorian rondell glass beads and large faceted black agate beads. The agate stones have been enhanced as well and each stone shows beautiful swirled designs, stripes and best of all, hints of turquoise blue which pop out here and there in each one. The centerpiece is made of brass which was silver plated and now has a lovely patina on it. Included with the necklace are earrings ( made for pierced ears) that match the stones and beads seen in the necklace. If you prefer clip backs just email me and I will change them for you. The necklace measures 19~1/2" long and has a 3~1/4" extender chain. Vintage, of course. With lovely embossed links and a blue crystal drop at the end of it. The pendant measures 2~13/16" (just over 2~3/4") long x 1~5/8" across and has my Ellen Original cartouche on the back of it. The earrings each measure approx. 2~1/2" long. This looks terrific on, whether you are going casual or dressing up. And it's nice to know you are the only one who will have one like this as each of my designs are one of a kind, original, pieces.
