LOVELY DELICATE GOLD FILLED FILIGREE & CARVED SHELL CAMEO EARRINGS BY KREMENTZ
Delicately beautiful, these shell cameo earrings by Krementz are lovely. From the 1930's-40's era these have the screw back mechanisms. Bezel set, oval, hand carved helmet shell cameos are surrounded by a fine filigree metal border, very fine and elegant. They are not marked as to the metal purity, however because they are magnitized it points to them as being heavily gold filled. The Krementz company gold filled process of high pressure welded rolled gold overlay is one of the is one the best in the business. Their costume jewelry was made to look like fine gold jewelry which is why it is so sought after today. These earrings are stamped Krementz on the curved part of each earring mechanism and are in excellent vintage condition. Classic and never out of fashion these will make a wonderful addition to your vintage jewelry collection. Measuring 7/8" long x 11/16" wide.
