EXQUISITE DECO ERA RARE DIAMOND FACETED CRYSTAL BEADS NECKLACE~DEEPLY CUT~LQQK
This vintage crystal beads necklace is one of the most unique I've ever had. From the 1920's 30's era it features gorgeous, extremely clear faceted crystal beads which are graduated in size. But...the unique feature here is the way these beads have been cut and faceted. The five main beads have exceptionally deep diamond shaped cuts making them quite dimensional. I took a lot of photos to try and capture the scope and depth of these beads but please know the pictures don't compare at all to the beauty seen in them when you actually have them in hand. The largest center bead measures 16 x 15mm. and the others graduate down in size the smallest measuring approx. 13 x 12mm. On either side of the main bead are elongated oval beads. Small bicone beads are used as spacers throughout the length of the necklace. The rest of the beads going along the neck area are faceted in a diamond pattern but without the depth of design seen in the 5 main ones. The necklace measures 16" long and has a brass fish hook locking clasp. This necklace is in excellent vintage condition. The beads are fantastic with no visible flaws, only a very few and tiny nics only seen if looking at them extremely close or with a loupe. The ends are still tight to the clasp, I will note one side looks as if the silk knot has been pulled a bit from when it has been clasped over time. This is not serious and does not detract from it all. If you seek out the very unusual vintage beads this will be a wonderful necklace to add to your collection.
