LONG BAROQUE PEARLS IN STERLING SILVER CROSS PENDANT WITH FLAT FREEFORM PEARLS
This baroque pearl cross pendant is simply gorgeous! Big elongated baroque pearls make up the points of the cross along with a large off round pearl in the center. All set in sterling silver, if you wear crosses this is one to have. I designed this one using flat elongated freeform pearls for the necklace and also for the matching earrings. The pearls are so beautiful, shimmering with soft iridescence, it didn't really need anything else but the pearls. But...I had to add my signature vintage item in the necklace, just have to use a vintage piece somewhere in my designs. So, what to do? I discovered that the two faceted rondell crystal beads seen on either side of the bale looked perfect there. These date to the 1920's era, so there it is, vintage with new. The cross measures 3~1/2" long x 2~1/2" across. This includes the bale. The necklace measures 18" long and has comes with my Ellen Original sterling silver hang tag. The pierced earrings measure 1~1/4" long. This looks fabulous on, scroll down to the last 2 pics to see it on my model!
