VTG PLASTIC SHELL & NATURAL SEASHELL NECKLACE~BIG GLASS PEARL BEADS~RHINESTONES
I sure love shells! Whether they be natural or made of some other material, they just make me happy, lol! This necklace I designed features a natural Pecten Albican flat seashell, a plastic (or lucite) conch shell, vintage rhinestones and glass pearl beads. I added the plastic shell to the top of the natural shell because it follows the line of the flat shell so nicely. I then applied rows of vintage rhinestones and glass pearls to the natural shell. The way these follow the design in the seashell remind me of sun rays beaming down. The necklace is strung with large vintage glass pearls which are a gorgeous shimmering white color and beautiful luster. They are all the same size, nice and big measuring 12mm round with the exception of the 2 closest to the lucite shell and the 2 at the very back clasp area. I made it adjustable using a vintage gold plated chain for the extender. A bit avant garde, if you like to wear unique one of a kind jewelry you will enjoy wearing this necklace. The pendant centerpiece measures 3~1/4" long x 2~1/8" wide, the necklace area measures an adjustable 19~1/2" total length. Comes with my copper Ellen Original hang tag...and a gift box too!
