KJL STYLIZED BLACK ROSEBUD NECKLACE WITH WHITE PLASTIC BEADS
Stylized black plastic rosebud with a double row of white plastic beads necklace by K.J.L. This design was done in the 1980's in two colors: coral and black. It was later designed with slight differences for Avon. This piece is stamped K.J.L. for Avon. The Avon design has gold toned leaves without the enameling and rhinestones that the other design has. It has the same tiny clear rhinestones in the center of the rosebud.The clasp is on the back of the rose and is not seen at all when it is on the neck. A very nice design element that Kenneth Lane does so beautifully. This necklace looks especially nice when the rose is placed off center to the side when wearing it. In excellent vintage condition it measures 18~1/2" long. The rose measures 2" long x 1~1/2 wide.
