JCF STERLING EGYPTIAN PHAROAH KING TUT PENDANT~VERMEIL~SAPPHIRE EYES~FINE DETAIL
Info on JCF found on the internet: JCF, Jewelers Charity Fund for Children, was established in 1999. Since then, the group has raised and donated $10,020,000 to programs for children in need. JCF, already supporting three major children's charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation added a fourth charity, National CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates), a national network of 70,000 trained volunteers who work for the interests of abused and neglected children. JCF's support will enable CASA to recruit thousands more volunteers and help sponsor national, regional, and local public awareness and outreach efforts. Almost 1,000 jewelry trade businesses and organizations support JCF

Beautifully designed pendant depicting King Tut (Tutankhamun). This is made of sterling silver which has been heavily gold plated making a high quality vermeil piece. It it very dimensional, finely detailed and comes with a sleek serpentine chain. Small, yet sparkling faceted gemstone sapphires are set in the eyes. The pendant alone weighs 25 grams. I excluded the chain as it is not marked sterling as far as I can see. The pendant measures 1~1/2" long x 1~1/8" wide and measures 17~1/2" long. This will make a wonderful gift for the collector of Egyptian pieces as well as a terrific piece for any jewelry collection.
