Exquisite Czechoslovakian necklace from the Edwardian-1920's era. Though unsigned there is no doubt that this awesome piece is most definately Czech. Fabulous and very ornate filigree brass and bezel set stones centerpiece with three rows of glass drops which sway gently from the bottom of it. Super long too with no clasp, it's a combination of hand wired glass and brass beads along with smaller hand strung and knotted glass beads which make up the neck portion the necklace. The variety of shapes and sizes of beads, especially the square brass ones, is incredible. This necklace is one of the finest examples of Czechoslovakian jewelry. So elaborate, yet so elegant and classic, you will look and feel like royalty when wearing this beauty. In excellent vintage condition it measures approx. 37" in length with the centerpiece measuring just under 4" long x 1~1/2" wide. This includes the total length with the drop. This is simply the best in period Czechoslovakian jewelry and will be a crown jewel in any vintage Czech jewelry collection. please note: Though it is in excellent vintage condition it could use a gentle polish. I leave that up to the buyer as many collectors prefer to leave the patina darker and unpolished. If you desire I will give polish it very gently which will leave the patina intact.
