VTG HUGE FAUX PEARL BEADS NECKLACE~BIG ORNATE ANTIQUE GOLD PLATED FILIGREE CAPS
What beautiful and HUGE pearls, I can hardly stand it, lol! This is a fabulous pearl necklace from the 1960's era. The pearl beads graduate in size with the biggest center pearl measuring a whopping 28mm round. Magnificent. And the filigree bead caps on the pearls are huge also. Huge, ornate and high quality with very detailed and beautiful filigree metal work. These are gold plated with an antique gold finish, again...just gorgeous. Antique gold Rondell beads are added in between the larger beads giving this piece a truely rich and expensive look. The pearls are made of a hard plastic and they have a fabulous pearlized coating on them. The best way to describe it is shimmery, glowing. This necklace is in excellent vintage condition, however I will note it has been restrung at some point in time. But very expertly, even back strung at the ends. This wonderful necklace measures 17~3/4" long. It looks fabulous on, if you love large, over the top beads, especially pearls, this is one to own!
