Been designing these big enameled bracelet designs since 2010, call them my flower bouquet collection. This one turned out to be a ocean, underwater, design, as opposed to a flower garden creation. Sometimes they just go their own way, lol~ The first four I made were sold at an antique show in April, 2011 and I did not get photos of them all before they sold. I managed to get a group photo of the next ones I designed but this being the latest is not pictured there. All of these bracelets feature vintage enamel flower pins, earrings, parts and pieces from the 1940's-60's era. Some have had to have the enamel restored but most I use are as found and arranged and applied onto lucite or plastic bangle bracelets. Most of the bangle bracelets are vintage but I have found some very cool looking new ones which look great with the older flowers. These are time consuming to design and construct but certainly fun~
This bracelet features a sea anemone looking enameled flower. It stands out a bit so I added a gold starfish to the top side which turned out to look as if he's hanging onto it. A tiny seahorse and sand dollar were added for a bit more of a seashore, beachy look. Small plastic yellow flowers are tucked in behind the anemone with even smaller white flowers beneath those. Settled on the bottom is a lovely leaf which is black with gold speckles painted on it.
Quite impressive, this one is big, wide, and high, very 3-dimensional with rhinestones adding some sparkle to it. The bracelet itself is a wide, opaque, black bangle which sets the yellow. gold, and white colors off beautifully. The bangle itself is new, the rest is vintage. This bracelet will look terrific on all year round. The condition is very good to excellent with just some very slight enamel loss at some of the ends of the anemone flower. I left it as it was found with no restoration done to it because to me this just adds to the charm of the piece. Everything else is excellent.
This one will fit a small wrist size only. It is not as heavy or as thick as the pictured mum bracelet but it's the widest of the ones I have made so far. I do balance the design out so if the bracelet fits your wrist size correctly it will not turn over. I will be adding more bracelets as often as possible. All are signed with my Ellen original copper or silver metal tags. This bracelet measures 1~7/8" wide with an inside opening which measures 2~1/2" in diameter.
