Wonderful Miriam Haskell WWII era bakelite dress or fur clip. Apple juice and amber bakelite beads drop from brass chains which are attached to a plastic or celluloid pierced back. A photo of a similar Miriam Haskell plastic back is included from the book "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" by Cathy Gordon and Sheila Pamfiloff. This is a wonderful collector's piece. The beads are beautiful, fabulous colors which glow when the light hits them. It's in excellent vintage condition and tested positive for bakelite with simichrome. Measures approx. 3" long x 2" wide.
