A MASTERPIECE IN BAKELITE!
Rare vintage bakelite bangle bracelet. Bought out of an estate it is a cast two tone bangle which features a deeply carved intricate design in a brown black and light - medium yellow shade. This is not a bright, solid, yellow butterscotch color, it is lighter than that and it is lightly marbled. Please see photos which show the color closely. It is thick and wide, truly heavily carved with spectacular designs featuring exotic leaves and flowers. I've never seen one like it. It is in excellent vintage condition measuring 1" wide with a 2~1/2" inside opening measurement.
This has tested positive for bakelite using simichrome.
