Vintage Boucher Bird of Paradise Pin
1960's era
Extremely rare piece, none shown on the internet as of this writing

Spectacular Boucher Bird of Paradise brooch.  This is an unsigned version, however, this is a rare variation that matches the inventory number 1042P. This design varies in that the bird is designed with fully spread wings and only one rhinestone which depicts the eye. Also has more enamel colors which are stunning. This magnificent bird features red, blue, aqua, pink, palest yellow, and pearl guilloche enamel accented with gold plated accents. The colors change from red to blue, to aqua blue to shimmering light pastels in very light yellow, aqua, pearl and pink, so blended together you can't see where one color starts or ends in many areas. He is perched on a gold plated branch with his gorgeous  multi colored plumage in full display.  The brooch also features riveted construction which designates high end, top quality workmanship.

Excellent example of the master craftsmanship and design of Marcel Boucher

Measures about 3.5" long x 3"" across.

Fabulous,  hard to come by addition to the Boucher or Bird jewelry collection.

Condition is rated as very good - excellent vintage condition with no real flaws to note.
