One of my favorite pieces so far this is a design using vintage pieces from the art deco period, circa 1920's, and other pieces through the 1940's era. (The neck chain is newer) The moth is carrying a jewel which is attached to the leaf. A large, ocean blue, glass cabochon jewel, a treasure to be sure. There is a story here, lol~The components used show slight imperfections due to their age, This is nothing that needed to be changed or restored. Moth shows slight enamel loss. This is very minimal so I didn't repaint. The leaf dates to the 1920's era and the rhinestones in it show a slight yellow tinge to them. Typical aging yet still beautiful. Worked perfectly for this design. Measures as follows: Drop length of both moth and leaf is 3~1/2". Leaf alone measures just over 2" long x 1~6/8" across. Moth measures 2" across x 1~1/2" long. Neck chain is made of pot metal with ice blue rhinestone flower stations and vining leaves. Back is beautifully finished. Measures 17~1/2" to 19" total adjustable length. Has my Ellen Original cartouche on the back.Wore it the other day, looks awesome on, you will LOVE this!
