Comprised of pink poured glass beads which are hand wired onto a swag chain. Soft pink in color if you look closely you see a very subtle variance in the pink shade going from a very light pink to a bit darker Being poured glass they vary slightly in shape.
The chain drapes down and across from each side of metal pierced rectangular bar (used at that time). The beads are hand wired onto the whole length of the chain. Two more rows of glass beads dangle straight down from the center. The top of each pin is hand wired with the largest sized beads covering it completely.
Examples of the pierced metal backs are pictured in the book "Miriam Haskell Jewelry". These pieces are from that period when the Haskell pieces were not signed, however, I've included a photo from the "Miriam Haskell Jewelry" book that shows the the design, style and construction which confirms them as Haskell pieces. (I used a photo from another listing for this)
Both pins are in very good - excellent vintage condition. Just a bit of darkening on the metal in some areas which is not serious, normal & desirable for serious collectors. There are 3 sizes of glass beads used in the pins, all are in excellent vintage condition.
Both measure 3" long x approx. 1~7/8" across at the top
Though we may rate vintage jewelry as in very good to excellent vintage condition, these pieces are pre-owned and may show very gentle wear. This is only pertaining to normal wear as in very slight loss of brilliance in stones, faint, barely visible, scratches on metal, and patina on certain metals such as brass and silver / silver plated metal"
