Exquisite flower spray pin from the 1930's-40s era. It features a distinct stylized art deco flower spray design which was so popular and made in various forms by the jewelers and companies at that time. This one looks like a design by Alfred philippe for Trifiari, but also much like Katz or Verrichio for Coro. This also could be attributed to Mazer or Reinad. It features enameled leaf stems which is another distinct design element seen in pieces by all of the aforementioned designers. But since it has a small x stamped on the back of it I also think it's probable that this is an Eisenberg Orignal brooch and the x is the stone setters mark. Irregardless of who marked it with the x this is a beautifully made high quality brooch and an important vintage piece. It's a large impressive size, yet very elegant.

The design features three flowers is different stages of bloom. The biggest one is fully open showing 2 layers of petals and a cluster of glass pearls in the center. The secondary bloom shows one layer of petals with a pearl cluster in the center and the last blossom shows as a cluster of pearls only. Every area of the brooch has pave set paste stones, its just covered in them. They're in every petal and all along the leaves and "ribbon" which holds the stems together. Simply stunning. This wonderful pin is in very good-excellent vintage condition. The paste stones sparkle beautifully with only very few showing any issues such as slight darkening or fading. When you look at this pin without any magnification the stones show a clear brilliance. The silver plated finish is in excellent vintage condition and the enamel is completely intact.

Measuring 3~1/2" long x 2~1/2" across this pin looks fabulous on and is sure to be a favorite in any art deco-retro era jewelry collection. I have another paste brooch listed which came from the same estate and has the same x mark on the back. If you like this pin take a look at that one also, it's spectacular!
